A successful choreographer since the 1980s, Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker (Malines, Belgium, 1960) is an artist of extraordinary expressive originality and a cult figure in the contemporary dance scene. This book presents the project Bist du bei mir. The Goldberg Variations, BWV 988 (2020) , based on Bach's composition of the same name and staged—in collaboration with pianist Alain Franco—at the Collezione Maramotti in Reggio Emilia (November 2024).



Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker's choreographic solo, created for the Maramotti Collection, advances the awareness of this dual dimension of Bach's music—human and divine, physical and metaphysical.
