The Israeli artist Eran Shakine is known for his cryptic, minimal drawings. His primary motif is the Graffiti Girl, which he has repeatedly painted, drawn, sprayed, and shaped for over a decade now. Whether Eran Shakine found the Graffiti Girl or she found him is difficult to say. While engaged in a psychological research and listening to recorded sessions, Shakine scribbled on old magazines and soon the lines and curves began to assume the outline of a faceless girl. She followed him out onto the street and soon appeared as urban art in the city. Fo r over 15 years the Graffiti Girl has accompanied Shakine now; he has created her out of different materials and placed her in the most varied ituations.
