The protagonists of the book are her daughters and the surroundings. Hertta Kiiski is an artist working with photography, moving image, and installation. Her images deal with the kind of haptic visuality where eyes operate like the sense of touch - she materializes the gaze. She holds an MFA from the Finnish Academy of Fine Arts. Her work has been shown in numerous solo and group exhibitions. Hertta Kiiski lives and works in Turku, Finland.
