The catalogue is being published to accompany the exhibition Heinz Mack, which is taking place at the Kunstpalast Düsseldorf and is primarily dedicated to the first decades of Heinz Mack's work from the 1950s to the 1970s. With his conquest of landscape space and provocative form experiments, Heinz Mack (born 1931) paved the way for a new understanding of art in the 1960s. The exhibition traces the central stages of his career.
