For over 35 years, Michel Comte has been one of the leading figures in fashion photography. The professionally trained art restorer rose to the apex of the fashion and editorial worlds, shooting for Italian Vogue, American Vogue, and Vanity Fair, among others. From 2006 to the present, Comte has worked almost exclusively with MILK Studios on photography and film projects that transcend the limitations of traditional fashion photography, utilising fashion, portraiture, reportage and now motion pictures in his repertoire. Michel Comte and MILK: A Collaboration 19962016 brings together never-before-seen imagery and film stills from Comtes archives in what is a visual celebration of one of todays great creative minds.
