Description
L'ouvrage, intitulé So Long.
At a time when the great masters of American photography, such as Robert Adams, William Eggleston, Lee Friedlander, Stephen Shore and Garry Winogrand are being rediscovered, it is, in our view, especially fitting to present of one of the major figures of French photography, Bernard Plossu's vision of the same land and period. This is not just because up until 1985 he produced a substantial portion of his work in the United States, but also because he was long considered to be an American photographer in his own right, on account of his active role in the arts scene of the day.
