AUTHOR BIOGRAPHIES
Born in Santo André, in the ABC region of São Paulo, Kiusam de Oliveira is a pedagogue, with a master's degree in psychology from the University of São Paulo (USP) and a doctorate in education. The author also works as a trainer for education professionals on the topics of education, ethnic-racial and gender relations, with a focus on anti-racist education. Her book The World in Black Power by Tayó (Peirópolis, 2013) was considered by the UN to be one of the ten most important books in the world for the promotion of Human Rights.

Rodrigo Andrade has been passionate about libraries and books with illustrations since he was little, he studied graphic arts and specialized in web development. Today, he works with digital education, multimedia content development and animations. He seeks creative ways to approach playfulness and diversity, a constant in his designs.
