Description
»Feng« means »wind« and »shui« means »water«. In Chinese culture wind and water are associated with good health, thus good feng shui came to mean good fortune, while bad feng shui means bad luck, or misfortune. This book is about the wind and water that surrounds Hong Kong, the elements of feng shui. Today, feng shui is more popular than ever, in Hong Kong and abroad, in Chinese as well as non-Chinese communities. In Hong Kong, barely any tower gets built without the geomancer being summoned to make sure the chi or life force flows where it should. Some are even built with gaping holes so the dragons can travel unhindered or with sharp edges to channel bad vibes at old enemies.
