Description

This volume, designed in collaboration with the artist, explores the past ten years of work by the German furniture designer Werner Asslinger (born 1964). The book presents the designer's vision of a futuristic utopia of robots and assistive technologies playfully integrated in our analog world.

„House of Wonders“ is devoted to a three-dimensional utopia, that portrays futuristic ideas of living, robots and other assistive technologies, as well as design-driven progress. All of these are playfully and unpretentiously integrated in our analogue world and without greater consideration incorporated into everyday life. The publication presents the work of Werner Aisslinger of the past ten years to the present. Designed by Bureau Mirko Borsche in close cooperation with Werner Aisslinger.
