Located inside the impressive Basilica Palladiana, Vicenza’s Jewellery Museum – the only museum in Italy entirely dedicated to jewellery – offers a selection of the most representative jewellery items on the Italian jewellery scene. The Museum hosts 270 pieces of inestimable value, exhibited in nine themed rooms and presented in this book which, far from following the usual chronological or stylistic museum classifications, re-establishes the complexity of jewellery through multiple points of view where the old converses with the contemporary and masterpieces of the past lie alongside those created with the technologies of the future.
