Description
'Reality without restraint' was the official debut of Belgian writer Christophe Van Gerrewey (1982) on the Dutch-speaking literary scene. It was part of his collection of 'fictional architecture criticisms' (published in 2004 by Vlees & Beton), and it appeared in 2005 in the literary magazine DWB. This handsome edition makes this remarkable short story, that takes place inside of the famous Villa dall'Ava designed by Rem Koolhaas/OMA, available to a wider English-speaking audience. The booklet is illustrated with a 'Chinese perspective' of the house, produced at the time of construction by Xaveer De Geyter.
